I had about 1 month between switching jobs. I wanted to try something new and exciting. I was interested in homestay to improve my English. I got a flyer about Angel Homestay from Kaoru about a month before the trip. I found out that Angel Homestay would make a customized homestay program for all kinds of people. I started exchanging many emails with Kaoru and I got a wonderful homestay plan just for myself.
I wanted to study English very hard. So, they arranged a private tutor for me 3 times a week. I met many of Donna's friends, too. Everyone was so nice. They listened to my poor English with a lot of patient. I never got a home-sick. I stayed with Donna's family for a few weeks and Vern & Jody's for a few weeks. They are very kind and nice. The homestay was better than I expected. It's very comfortable and fun. Of course, it was thanks to Donna and Kaoru's help. They made my stay such a wonderful and enjoyable one.
I decided to speak only English even with Kaoru. She gave me some advises how to study English. My English improved a lot in that 1 month. My wonderful memories include the night view from Griffith Park observatory, Club Mud, Japanese dishes party, Beaches, Silk Painting Class by Donna, Father's Day Party, Eat-outs, etc. My choice of Angel Homestay was successful.
